From foundation to framing, the FireRock Wood Burning Outdoor Fireplace – 42″ has been designed for efficiency and performance. This fireplace system does require a chimney. You can choose from a masonry chimney (see below) or a DuraChimney System. The entire firebox can be completed in a matter of hours, as opposed to a 2-3 week scratch-built project. The masonry flue system from FireRock is a 1-piece system with a 15” inner diameter, improving smoke draw and making construction easy.

PLEASE NOTE: Approximately 10-12 bags of mortar are needed for proper installation, pending size of the firebox. The appropriate amount of mortar is included in the Installation Kit. For every 6 chimney blocks, an additional bag of mortar is required (purchased separately). Chimney system installation may require additional parts. Please see your chimney manual for additional requirements.
